Fundacja L’Arche

L’Arche Foundation belongs to the International Federation of L’Arche Communities, founded in France by Jean Vanier. The Foundation has been present in Poland for more than 35 years. L’Arche are communities created by people with intellectual disability and those who want to support them in everyday life. The aim of the Foundation is to provide decent conditions of living as well as actions towards changing the attitude of the society towards people with disability. The Polish Foundation runs six houses of permanent residence (including two in Poznań), protected apartments, Occupation Therapy Workshops, a Community Self-help Home and a Support Point. FILIPIAKBABICZ Kancelaria Prawna actively engages in the pro bono activity of the Foundation in Poznań and offers legal support. Our legal counsel Przemysław Szmidt is also a volunteer in the L’Arche Community in Poznań and actively supports the management of the Community.

STOWARZYSZENIE NA TAK

The mission of Stowarzyszenie Na Tak (Yes Association) is to bring help in all aspects of life to the disabled persons, including in particular people with Down syndrome and their families. The Association provides professional and thorough help in specialised facilities, as well as means for developing talents in dance, theatrical and sport groups.

The lawyers of FILIPIAKBABICZ Kancelaria Prawna support the Association’s actions, as a Pro Bono idea and provide free legal counsel.

Fundacja Mały Piesek Zuzi

Fundacja „Mały Piesek Zuzi” („Suzie’s Little Dog” Foundation) was established in 2006 and has a status of a public benefit organisation. The Foundation focuses in particular on dog therapy, a method that supports rehabilitation and general therapy, in which a major role is played by the specially selected and trained dogs. The Foundation also undertakes educational projects and runs educational and therapeutical classes.

The law firm has actively participated in establishing the Foundation, in particular by drawing up the founding documents and is currently a regular partner of the Foundation, providing an ongoing legal advice related to its charity activities. Moreover, legal counsel Marcin Reszka is the head of the Foundation’s audit committee.

Wielkopolskie Centrum Rehabilitacji i Profilaktyki Niepełnosprawności Dzieci i Młodzieży

The goal of Wielkopolskie Centrum Rehabilitacji i Profilaktyki Niepełnosprawności Dzieci i Młodzieży (The Greater Poland’s Rehabilitation and Prevention Centre of Children and Youth Disability) is to support the disabled and their families in their struggle with everyday difficulties. The Centre provides specialised, thorough and professional physical therapy, hydrotherapy, massage and kinesiotherapy services.
