Specializes in commercial law, primarily in commercial company law (including M&A and transformations of companies – both in the legal and economic aspects) as well as in issues related to financial institutions (in particular in the field of payment institutions and closed-end investment funds) and legal aspects of the Stock Exchange and OTC markets.

Graduate of law from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, (where he wrote an M.A. thesis in the field of mergers of capital companies, with particular focus on downstream mergers de lege lata and de lege ferenda) and a graduate of finance and accounting at the Poznań University of Economics and Business (major: equity investments and corporate finance strategies), where he defended his M.A. thesis concerning the usage of Leveraged Buy Out (LBO) in mergers and acquisitions.

Experience: selected projects

In his professional practice he deals with issues associated with his specialization interests through active participation in projects concerning mergers and acquisitions (i.e. successfully executing downstream merger) and numerous transformations of companies in the course of restructuring processes. He also participates in projects related to license motions conducted before polish Financial Supervision Authority (including obtaining authorization to provide services as national payment institution and adapting already conducted business activity to the requirements of the PSD2 directive) as well as securitization transactions of bank receivables based on  both true-sale securitization (in the form of contract of assignment) and subparticipation. Moreover he prepares legal audits of companies (including due diligence) and audits of real property. On an everyday basis he provides legal assistance for enterprises from a wide variety of business areas.
