Intervention of the RPO in the case of not granting loans to persons with completed consumer bankruptcy

Banks refuse persons with completed consumer bankruptcy proceedings to take advantage of the offer prepared by the bank. They particularly refuse to grant credits and loans. After the material on the subject was published in the press, RPO intervened.

As we read in the position published on the RPO website: Deputy Ombudsman Maciej Taborowski asked the President of the Polish Bank Association Krzysztof Pietraszkiewicz for the position. He also asked for information whether solutions that would make it easier for people after the consumer bankruptcy process to use the offer of banking products were considered.
