Bankruptcy Forecasts

According to data published in Monitor Sądowy i Gospodarczy, 391 companies collapsed in Poland at the end of July. Compared to last year, this number is slightly higher, but in the opinion of experts, the real scale of the phenomenon will be visible in autumn.

The given number of declared bankruptcies is the result of solutions introduced by the Anti-Crisis Shields, namely: suspension of the obligation to file for bankruptcy and the introduction of a new simplified restructuring procedure. In autumn, along with the fading of these benefits, the real scale of the problem will be revealed. It is predicted that the consequence of the changing situation will be the number of declared bankruptcies and consumer bankruptcies, counted in hundreds per month, and stabilization can be expected in spring or summer next year.
