What’s next for the restructuring of Rafako?

Rafako has been undergoing simplified restructuring since September.

It seemed that the company’s situation was stabilizing, as more than 10 days ago, the meeting of Rafako’s creditors decided to accept the arrangement proposals. However, not all creditors were in favor of accepting the arrangement. Bank PKO BP will not take part in the vote at all. On the other hand, the system was negatively assessed by: Energa, Polimex Mostostal and the Gazy-System company. Moreover, the company Gaz-System, for which Rafako was building the Goleniów-Płoty gas pipeline and the Kędzierzyn gas compressor station, withdrew from contracts and charged the company with contractual penalties of several dozen million zlotys.
