The bankruptcy of Bielmlek is at risk
The bankruptcy of the dairy cooperative Bielmlek is under threat.
The decision on the bankruptcy of the cooperative was made nearly two months ago. However, the implementation of this decision from the beginning was marked by a number of problems that we wrote about here.
The official receiver sent letters to some of the farmers – shareholders of the cooperative regarding the equalization of shares. In response, they have already undertaken appeals on their own or in cooperation with a lawyer. The official receiver is refraining from sending summons to the rest of the shareholders. It is probably dictated by the actions taken by the management of the cooperative. Members of the management board question the bankruptcy decision and announce that it will be appealed against. The entire process must be suspended pending an appeal by the court.
